High Efficiency Particulate Air
That is what HEPA stands for but what HEPA filters do for you and your home is pretty incredible. For any kind of filter to be considered HEPA, it must satisfy some requirements, one of which is that it must remove at least 99.97% of airborne particles greater than 0.3 micrometres.
That’s about 30 times smaller in diameter than than a hair!
These small particles include nasty stuff like allergens, pollen, tobacco smoke, metallic fumes, bacteria, mould, dust and more.
This is why HEPA filters are used in hospitals, clinics, airplanes and now you can have one of these installed in your home and create a better environment for your whole family.
