How Do ACs Work?

Everyone who has experienced the scorching hot and humid Toronto summers knows how great of an invention air conditioners are. Judging by the nice cool breeze that comes out of most Air Conditioners, you might be tempted to think that an AC takes the hot air in your house and cools it but what is actually doing is taking the hot air from your house and by using some clever science and mechanics it deposits it outside and what remains after taking the hot air out is the cool air that comes out.

Whatever the process, I sure am glad that a guy by the name Carrier came up with it over 100 years ago and thus starting a whole revolution in home comfort.

Furnace/AC system

5 5 1
Bought a full Infinity furnace/AC system from Cozy Comfort a number of years ago. Was very satisfied then. Called this year when my AC was not working. They quoted the best price to come inspect and potentially repair the problem. They told me what the likely cause was (leaking coil) and what it would cost to replace. They were right, fixed it as quoted, and did a very professional job, cleaning up after. I was 100% satisfied with the service and will definitely use them again.
