Cozy Comfort Plus Passes on Savings from the Energy Savings Rebate Program to You!

Bundle up, we have some great news that will make you warm and cozy no matter what the temperature is outside! Cozy Comfort Plus is pleased to have achieved eligible retailer status with the Energy Savings Rebate program, an initiative to provide customers with rebates for energy efficiency products in Ontario. The Energy Savings Rebate program was implemented to help Ontarians reduce energy use, save money on energy efficient products and do their part to address climate change.

The timing of this news couldn’t be better…we’re right in the middle of the coldest days of winter in Toronto and across the GTA, so why not save money and make your home more energy efficient all at once!

How Can You Save Money Through the Energy Savings Rebate Program?

There are some big savings available through this program! As an eligible retailer, Cozy Comfort Plus will gladly share the following deals with you:

  • A savings of up to 25% of the purchase price of eligible products
  • Most savings opportunities are up to $500 per item, except for tankless condensing water heaters and ductless mini split indoor units (air source heat pumps), where rebates can be up to $1,000 per item

There are many products we carry that are eligible to receive this rebate. As the popular saying goes, “a penny saved is a penny earned,” and we’re happy to do our part to help you save money and make your home cozy, comfortable and more energy efficient this winter. When my furnace broke down last winter, we were without heat for two weeks while the HVAC company sourced the parts from the US. I wanted to install a gas fireplace insert to replace my existing gas log set and to act as a backup heat source (e.g. furnace breaks down again, no power). I had a number of questions about the various gas fireplace inserts (e.g. size and fit in my old fireplace) and I contacted several HVAC companies.

I found that Brian from Cozy Comfort Plus to be the most helpful and he also gave me the best price. I was home at the time and I saw that the Cozy team did a great job installing the gas fireplace insert (e.g., assembling and fitting the insert, bending and capping the chimney, etc.).
