- Complete minimum of 2 upgrades
- Gas, propane, oil, wood and electric heated homes qualify
- Audit Costs are $400 + HST for pre audit and $200 + HST for post audit, and will be reimbursed as part of the incentive payment after successfully completing the program (pre and post audit). Participant will pay the HST on the pre and post audit costs.
- Maximum total Enbridge Gas rebate is $5,000 including access to additional available electrical incentives
- Work must be completed within 120 days of pre audit
- In order to qualify for Enbridge incentives, pre and post audits must take place prior to December 31st, 2018
- Participants must complete their pre and post audits by December 31st, 2018 in order to be eligible for the IESO incentives

Furnace/Boiler

- FURNACE: replace a 94% or lower efficiency with a 95% AFUE or higher
- BOILER: replace an 89% or lower efficiency with a 90% AFUE or higher ENERGY STAR ® condensing gas boiler
Water Heater

- For replacing existing water heater with 0.80 EF or higher tank type natural gas or propane water heater or;
- For replacing existing water heater with 0.82 EF or higher tankless type natural gas or propane water heater
Other Heating
For replacing a wood-burning system or appliance with one of the following:
Must be considered primary heating source

- An indoor wood-burning appliance certified to either CAN/CSA-B415.1-M92
- An indoor pellet-burning appliance (includes stoves, furnaces and boilers that burn wood, corn, grain or cherry pits)
- An indoor masonry heater
- Replace a solid fuel-fired outdoor boiler with an outdoor wood-burning appliance certified to C The capacity of the new equipment must be equal to or smaller than the capacity of the boiler being replaced.

- For Cold Climate, ASHP must be NEEP certified and have a COP at -15°C (5°F) greater than 2.0 at maximum capacity operation

To qualify for the Home Energy Conservation Program, homeowners must also:
agree not to participate in any other gas or building envelope program(s) offered by parties outside of Enbridge Gas Distribution Inc. between the Initial Audit and the Final Audit.
confirm they have not applied for, nor will apply in the future for, rebates or incentives from other energy efficiency/conservation programs (including GreenON) for the same qualifying energy efficiency improvements for which the homeowner is eligible to receive incentives through the HEC Program.
