Wall-Mounted City Multi Units for Zoned Comfort
Wall-mounted City Multi indoor units distribute heated or cooled air to an individual zone as part of a compatible refrigerant system. They suit projects where a visible high-wall unit is acceptable and suitable airflow, piping and drainage routes are available.
Choose the location around the zone
An indoor unit's position affects distribution and maintenance. Compare these priorities before selecting a wall simply because it is easy to pipe.
Air distribution
Direct airflow into the occupied zone without relying on open doors to condition separate rooms. Avoid locations where furniture or partitions block the discharge.
Drainage route
Confirm a suitable condensate arrangement and access to any pump. A visually convenient position can create a difficult or maintenance-heavy drain route.
Service access
Allow room to clean filters and service the unit. Tight placement beside cabinetry or a ceiling can make routine work unnecessarily difficult.
Verify the City Multi combination
A wall-mounted format does not make an indoor unit compatible with every outdoor system. Confirm the complete model, capacity range, refrigerant and approved connection arrangement.
City Multi equipment should not be treated as interchangeable with a residential M-Series wall unit. The zone's operation also depends on the overall heat-pump or heat-recovery system and its controls.
Include piping and controls in the installation
For Toronto and GTA projects, calculate the zone load and review simultaneous building demand. Heating output and winter suitability depend on the selected system, not only the indoor nameplate.
Replacement requires checking existing piping, drain, power and controller compatibility. Include insulation, wall penetrations, condensate testing and commissioning in the quote. A larger indoor unit cannot solve an undersized outdoor system or an unsuitable zone layout on its own.
Specify the indoor unit as part of the system
Provide a floor plan and outdoor-equipment details before comparing indoor units. Resolve these items in the proposal.
