Valor Legend G3.5 Insert Series Gas Fireplace

Considering the Valor G3.5 for your fireplace upgrade? Here are the key things that are worth knowing before you make your choice.

Meet the Valor G3.5 Model 700RN, a compact gas insert built to upgrade an existing wood-burning fireplace with efficient radiant heat.

Where this model really stands out is heating performance.

The natural gas version delivers up to 26,000 BTU and can turn down to around 13,000 BTU.

Maximum rated output is just over 20,900 BTU, with an energy rating of approximately 70%.

You also get Valor AutoFire technology, which helps maintain consistent combustion and overall performance.

Another benefit is its compact footprint.

The viewing area is about 23.5 inches wide, and the minimum fireplace opening is roughly 29 inches wide, 20.5 inches high, and 13.5 inches deep.

Now, there are a few things you have to consider.

At 26,000 BTU, the G3.5 is better suited for focused zone heating than very large open-concept spaces.

And since it’s an insert, your existing fireplace size, chimney, gas connection, venting, and clearances all need to be checked first.
