Valor Portrait Bolero Gas Fireplace

Designed to fit contemporary spaces both old and new, the Bolero offers a unique look that adapts to your interior. Cast surfaces are polished smooth then plated for a stunning finish, etched with crisp dark lines and curved outside contours. Like all Portrait Series fires, you have the choice between traditional log, black coal or rock fire media.

Engineered as a zero clearance fireplace, installation possibilities become vast and welcome your architectural and interior design inspirations. As well, all fuel beds include a reversible black liner/red brick set with an optional reflective glass liner kit.

When my furnace broke down last winter, we were without heat for two weeks while the HVAC company sourced the parts from the US. I wanted to install a gas fireplace insert to replace my existing gas log set and to act as a backup heat source (e.g. furnace breaks down again, no power). I had a number of questions about the various gas fireplace inserts (e.g. size and fit in my old fireplace) and I contacted several HVAC companies.

I found that Brian from Cozy Comfort Plus to be the most helpful and he also gave me the best price. I was home at the time and I saw that the Cozy team did a great job installing the gas fireplace insert (e.g., assembling and fitting the insert, bending and capping the chimney, etc.). If you are looking for a gas fireplace insert, I would highly recommend that you give Brian a call.
