Fires of Tradition Corvallis Legacy Stone Mantels Fireplace

Our largest mantel, the Corvallis mantel moves away from traditional design, and makes a bold statement that is appropriate for larger spaces. This design has translated simple Provincial French influence that you might see in chateaux and manor houses of the eighteenth century into a very flexible contemporary statement.

All our mantels are designed with some depth to them, which gives any mantel more pleasing lines. However, this requires that the firebox be installed ahead of the drywall, whether they are used with a rebate or a cabinet mantel.

Similar with the hearth- the firebox must be installed at a certain height off the finished floor, in order to allow the hearth to be properly located. Please consult the installation manual for these specifics.

The Corvallis mantel can be installed with the 530 Portrait and 534 Horizon fireboxes, and is the only mantel we offer that can be installed with the Ventana firebox.
This mantel is available in a rebate version only- meaning that the fireplace itself must have a ‘chase’ constructed around it [2×4 frame and drywall construction]. This chase is generally installed inside the room, projecting forwards of the wall.
